Last year, I had several misbehaving students.

So during pre-service week this year, I asked admin if I could make behavior a small portion of my students’ grade. They told me that school policy says I’m not allowed to grade behavior at all.

Then, near the end of the semester, they were mad at ME because one of my worst behaved students had a B+ in the class. When I reminded them that I wasn’t allowed to grade behavior, they said, “You’re not allowed, but you still can’t have disrespectful students earning a B+.”
